Our commitment to preventing modern slavery.
Our commitment to ethical business practices and human rights
TECAD ENERGIES has a zero-tolerance approach to modern slavery and human trafficking. We are committed to acting ethically and with integrity in all our business dealings and to implementing effective systems and controls to ensure these crimes are not taking place within our own operations or our supply chains.
We operate in a sector with complex global and local supply chains. To identify and mitigate risks, we:
We assess potential risks in our operations and supply chain
We incorporate anti-slavery requirements into our contractor and supplier agreements
We provide training to relevant employees on identifying and addressing modern slavery risks
This statement is made pursuant to the spirit of global transparency acts like the UK Modern Slavery Act and reflects our commitment to the principles of the Nigerian legal framework on human rights. It applies to all persons working for us or on our behalf in any capacity.
We will continuously review and improve our practices to ensure our commitment is upheld.
